things i do not like
1. having my flatmate tell me to do last weekend's dishes ON A POST-IT (and her obviously completely ignoring the fact that i basically wasn't in the flat since friday morning but oh well...)
2. being ill.
3. insanely arrogant students who think they can tell a teacher (who is an ENGLISH NATIVE SPEAKER and has just told them to write "I helped to plan" instead of "I help planning"): "but you just told me to use more participle constructions!" in a very reproachful and annoyed manner. ummmm, yeah, but that's not a participle but a gerund. god! what makes you think YOU KNOW BETTER?! (and YES, i'm thinking of someone in particular here!)
4. 27-year-old girls who are so confused to see someone sitting on "their" chair in class that they stand next to said occupied piece of furniture for one minute and don't know what to do.
